He is a museologist and expert in the management of cultural heritage. He is Vice President of ICOM and member of ICOM’s Executive Board. He was President of ICOM Italy (2010-2014); he was also member of the Board of the International Committee for Regional Museums (2007-2010), of ICOM’s Standing Committee for Museum Definition, Prospects and Potentials (2017-2019), SAREC and Strategic Plan Committee (2013- 2017). He was President of the Organising Committee of ICOM’s Milan 2016 General Conference. He is a speaker at the UNESCO High Level Forum on Museums (Shenzen, China). He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Museum of Palazzo Ducale in Mantua, President of the Scientific Committee of Trento’s MUSE - Museo delle Scienze and member of the Scientific Committee of Brescia Musei Foundation.
She has worked for four governments and developed open government initiatives for the Department for Structural Funds, the Department for Constitutional Reforms and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was a member of the first think tank for innovation at the MoE wanted by the Minister Profumo between 2012 and 2013.
Since 2003 she has researching on topics related to Innovation law, with particular reference to the production, management and circulation of intangible and public information assets. She has been a lecturer in Italy on Intellectual Property and Comparative Private Law (University of Bari), Teaching Associate of European Law at Oxford Brookes University (UK) and Fundamental Rights at Lazarski University in Warsaw (PL).
